Corpus Funds

The House of Mewar made generous contributions to the temple at various times. The proceeds and income gained for this Trust are to be used exclusively for the maintenance, upkeep, and performance of customary religious ceremonies and for worship at the Shri Eklingji temple.The sub trusts and funds listed below also follow the same registration as Shri Eklingji Trust

Shri Mewar Shiv Shakti Peeth - Trustees of Shri Eklingji Trust manage this as a separate trust fund. As has been customary, the accretions to offerings of the outside 'Darsharnarthis' are not utilised in any form, direct or indirect, for the worship of Shri Parmeshwarji Maharaj or for Shri Eklingji Temple, but is treated as a separate fund known as Shri Mewar Shiv Shakti Peeth and is utilised only for charitable purposes.

Shri Amba Mataji - The properties and funds attached to the temple of Amba Mataji at Ambapol, Udaipur and the income from the same are used only for the worship of Shri Amba Mataji and upkeep of the temple. This functions as a separate religious trust.

Asawara Mataji - The properties and funds attached to the temple of Shri Asawara Mataji at Asawara, in district Chittorgarh and the income from the same are used only for the worship of Shri Asawara Mataji and upkeep of the temple. This functions as a separate religious trust

Mahasatiyaji - Shri Eklingji Trust is entrusted the supervision and management of Shri Mahasatiyaji, the family cenotaphs and shrines of the House of Mewar Along with Shri Harsidhiji, in Hastimataji temple. This also functions as a separate religious trust with separate books and balance sheet.

Household Trust Funds - There are various Household Trust Funds under the supervision of Shri Eklingji Trust. The funds created for specific purposes are under the supervision of the board of trustees of Shri Eklingji Trust. Their concern is to ensure that the Trust funds are invested safely and profitably and that the incomes are spent appropriately. Budgets are approved and sanctioned by the Chairman and Managing Trustee.

The various Household Trust Funds are:

  • Dharmasabha Fund for the worship of the personal deities of the House of Mewar, the upkeep of the temples located in the The City Palace and performance of customary religious ceremonies and festivals.
  • Hem-ka Gola Fund
  • Paramarth Fund
  • Maji Sahiba Chawdiji ka Fund
  • Sadavrat Fund
  • Vidyadan Fund
